Unprecedented Deer Damage

Plant selection is extremely limited this season due to deer breaking into the nursery. This is an unfortunate first in the six years of operation in Port Townsend and, sadly, devastating on a business and personal level.

Over 50% of this season's crop of trees are damaged or destroyed.

As a perennial producer, it will take time to recover. This is a set back that will impact plant availability and sales for the next two years.

Please consider making a donation when placing your order or donating directly via PayPal to help Heartwood Nursery regrow and continue to offer trees to the Olympic Peninsula community.

Heartwood Nursery recognizes our agricultural system was built on the stolen land & stolen labor of Black, Indigenous, & People of Color.

Plants are half price for BIPOC folks -- email for more info.
